The Room101 Johnny Tobacconaut is returning with a new blend as an exclusive release for Luxury Cigar Club and its preferred retail partners.
The blend now features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and a Nicaraguan binder and filler, with production handled by AJ Fernandez’s factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. It will be released in a 6 x 56 figurado vitola and is being offered in 10-count boxes, with individual cigars having an MSRP of $16.
Luxury Cigar Club expects to have the cigar ready to release in mid-December which would have it on store shelves before the end of the year. They will share some design elements with the original release, though will have some very notable differences between the boxes and the paper wraps that the cigars wear.
This new Room101 Johnny Tobacconaut will be a regular production cigar and the first in a series of new Johnny Tobacconaut releases, as Chris Doyle, owner of Luxury Cigar Club, told halfwheel that there will be more cigars coming out that will follow Johnny Tobacconaut’s story, though declined to elaborate on what specifically is in store for the line.
Room101 launched the original Johnny Tobacconaut in October 2015, a limited edition Nicaraguan puro that was made at Agroindustria LAEPE S.A. in Honduras. It was released in three sizes:
Those three vitolas were offered in 20-count boxes, with 3,500 boxes produced across the three sizes for a total of 70,000 cigars.
