Cavalier Genève Announces in-House FCT Factory

Cavalier Genève today announced the opening of their own factory in Danlí, Honduras, dubbed Fabrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A.

The company had previously worked with third-party manufacturers for the first five years in business; most notably, this included the San Judas Tadeo facility in Honduras, best known for rolling Maya Selva Cigars.

Sebastien Decoppet, founder of Cavalier Genève, commented:

“It was time for Cavalier to take it to the next level. We have always had very demanding standards for production as well as packaging, and the next step to meet our goals was to bring full control of manufacturing operations in-house to improve versatility and ensure the destiny of Cavalier Genève Cigars is in our hands alone,”

The factory, which had been noted as the manufacturer of the company’s recent Cavalier Genève Prospektor cigar, will handle Cavalier Genève’s portfolio moving forward. Cavalier had a building remodeled and expanded to meet the task, now handling Cavalier’s Central American operations offices, tobacco processing, manufacturing, packaging, and warehousing departments, currently employing a team of 50 employees in total.
