Meet Elias Theodorou
Elias won “The Ultimate Fighter: Nations” in 2014, and last year the former UFC fighter made history by becoming the first MMA fighter to receive a therapeutic use exemption for medical cannabis. He can use medicinal cannabis while training and at weigh-ins, and is scheduled to fight this March 12th. Elias is fighting the stigma!
What’s MMA?
I grew up watching boxing, but MMA is what’s up now. It stands for Mixed Martial Arts, sometimes called cage fighting, and incorporates techniques from various combat sports and martial arts. Fighting styles are diverse, and the action is intense.
